Helping to improve your photography

Welcome to OzLight Photo Adventures!

OzLight Photo Adventures has been created by Brisbane based friends with over 50 years of combined photography experience and knowledge. Our aim is to bring photo education to beginners regardless of your camera type or photography style.

The courses run by OzLight Photo Adventures will combine theory on the fundamentals of the art along with practical hands on application using YOUR equipment. These fun and informative courses will enable the photographer to gain base skills and experience that will be helpful across all photography subjects.

Take a look at our Courses page for upcoming events. Remember to return regularly as new course types and dates will be added frequently. Or you can subscribe to our Upcoming Events Newsletter and be among the first to find out when we announce a new Course or Adventure!

Options for individual or small group tutoring are available on request – please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirement.

About Us

Ken

thumb-KenDicksonI started with an interest in photography when I was 18 and traveling the world with the navy. I started photography using film and slide film but moved to digital in 2004. I have a passion for all types of photography, but particularly enjoy capturing great portraits. I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with students, it is always exciting to see the moment it click for them.

Tony

thumb-Tony whiteWhilst my love of photography began at a young age, it was not until I was offered an SLR in 2005 that I truly started to explore the world of photography. My favourite types of photography are landscape, macro and portrait. I have been a member of the Mt Gravatt Photographic Society since 2005. With an IT background I enjoy the digital aspects of my photography, though I much rather get it right in camera than spend time perfecting it Photoshop. I also enjoy helping others with their photography and workflow so am happy to assist where I can.
